OK, well, I can say that I have been unsuccessful at one of my New Years Resolutions, and that was to stay more on top of updating my site. Here we are in Mid April, and this is the first update since January. Needless to say, a lot has happened since the beginning of the year.
The Arnold Classic has come and gone, and although I didn’t compete, it was still a great weekend. I had a great time at the booth, with Adela and Chris and all the girls. We always manage to not only meet a lot of cool people, but catch up with each other and have a lot of great laughs. Congratulations to all the girls that competed at the Arnold!
February and March brought so many birthdays that it felt like I was at a party every weekend, and having to use more willpower to not lick the frosting than usual. I was in the middle of my contest prep for the New York Pro Fitness. Instead of getting into all my training woes and struggles, I will cut to the chase and say “I WON!!” I trained really hard for this show, and I have said it a few times, and I will say it again… a lot of blood sweat and tears went into preparing for this show, from some personal struggles, to dealing with a few small injuries. But it all came together on the day it needed to, and I won! It was nice to be able to win in New York, as I have placed 2nd there the last 2 years. Having all the people that have been so
supportive of my career sitting in the audience means a lot too. I have gotten so many supportive and congratulatory e-mails and messages that it makes the victory linger on all that much longer. And I have to say… I LOVE IT! Now I will begin preparing for the Houston Pro in July. I am happy to say that I have qualified for my 3rd Olympia, and cannot wait to step on that stage again. What an amazing feeling! Here are a couple of links to some of the interviews that I did right after the show.

Now that we are deep in the heart of the competitive season, I have a lot of appearances and and other festivities going on. Be sure to check out my SEE ME section for where I will be for shows. The next place that I will be is up here in Boston at the New JAY CUTLER NEW ENGLANDS. I will be in Boston judging this show. I am really excited about being there to support Jay’s shows and to see my home town crowd. If you are in the area, be sure to check it out. I will also be back in New York for the MENS PRO, and again to support their Atlantic States in June. Be sure to swing by the GNC booth to say hello.
We are once again coming up on the SJV RIDE. This year it will be August 9th, and we are really looking forward to once again bettering the rider and donation
turnout. Visit www.sjvride.com to get more information.
I, for one, am extremely excited about this upcoming season, and more so for the summer that is just creepin’ up on us. I am a warm weather lover and cannot wait to get out side! The snow that we got here in New England kept us all pretty cooped up all winter, so the luxury of doing anything outside is very much anticipated.
Here’s to wishing everyone a Happy, Healthy and Fabulous Spring!
You cannot find happiness by making it your goal. Happiness is the unintended benefit of pursuing personal dreams and living true to your self. A deep sense of fulfillment will emerge when you proactively connect the person you are with the things that you choose to do.
