Long Term Fitness Ambitions:I
would love to grace the pages of some popular fitness magazines. Also, to
be able to continue to compete and keep it fun while maintaining an active
lifestyle and help to promote the sport.
What you like most about competing in Fitness?
Staying in shape, achieving goals that I have set, finding my mental and
physical capabilities and the people that I meet along the way.
What motivated you to get into Fitness?
I love the look of
muscles, and I love the feeling of being in shape. Having goals is very
important to me, short and long term, so to be able to incorporate my love
for fitness and being goal oriented is key
Role Models in Fitness:
Adela Friedmansky for all of her accomplishments and her
constant support for the sport. Adela is not only an awesome
trainer, but a great friend. She has worked hard to achieve all her
goals without the experience of being a dancer/performer or gymnast.... she
is a true inspiration.
Fitness Competitors who physiques you most admire:I
think Monica Brant is amazing. When she is on stage her physique just
demands your attention. She has good muscles but maintains all of her
femininity. I also admire Adela Freidmansky and Tanji Johnson, they are
both very symmetrical and beautiful women.
Fitness Competitors or others in the business whose personalities you most
admire:
Cathy Savage who selflessly gives to the sport 110%.
Brian Cannone and Donna
Poggio
for their undying efforts of promoting woman’s fitness.
Also, Wendi West and Yolanda Dixon. I can’t say enough
about either one. Both girls are the epitome of “Fitness”, from two
different perspectives.
Best Body part: I
get the most compliments on my back.
Worst Body part:
My hamstrings. They are
the last things to come in when I’m training for a show.
Favorite Exercise:I
like training back and biceps.
Least Favorite Exercise:
I hate doing Abs….
They always burn so much.

Traits you admire most in others: Honesty,
confidence, and a good sense of humor.
Traits you dislike in other people: People who take themselves too
serious, also people who think they are better than someone else.
Some of the best advice
you’ve ever received?
Never compromise
yourself. Stay true to who you are and what you believe.
Best Fitness advice?
Listen to your body… it
knows best.
What makes you want to compete?
The sense of accomplishment… setting a goal, and being able to achieve it.
Also, the thrill of being on stage. It’s terrifying and exciting at the
same time.
What
is an everyday outfit for you?
As long as I’m not dressed for the office, you can usually find me in a pair
of jeans, a baby-T, and a pair of boots. (And of course a funky belt
and accessory to go with it!)
What makes you HAPPY?
Just waking up in the morning (most days!), being with friends, shopping...
hearing my nephews laugh.
What makes you angry?
Rude people, being lied to.
When you’re along what do you like to do?
Totally veg out on my couch in big ‘ole sweats, with a bag of microwave
popcorn, the remote, and my dog Bijou.
